Can I preview perspective correction before taking a photo?+
Yes. With CORRECT ON, enable Live Correction Preview under Settings → Framing. The composition updates as you move the phone. Check the final photograph after capture; preview framing and the saved result can differ.
What does Plumb do?+
Plumb is a native iPhone camera for architectural photography. It captures an original photo, records shutter-time camera and motion data, and creates a separate perspective-corrected version on device.
What does Plumb correct?+
It corrects converging verticals and architectural perspective caused by tilting the phone. The goal is a natural architectural photograph, not an exaggerated or artificial transformation.
Does correction replace the original?+
No. The original camera resource is retained. Automatic correction runs after the shutter and writes a separate derivative.
Does Plumb upload my photos?+
Perspective correction happens on your iPhone. Pro offers optional iCloud Sync, off by default, using your private CloudKit database managed by Apple. Plumb does not upload photos to a developer-operated server for correction.
Which devices work with Plumb?+
Plumb supports iOS 18 and later. iPhone 13 or newer is recommended; older supported phones use the live camera capabilities available on that hardware.
What resolution and format does Plumb capture?+
The default is high-quality processed HEIF, with JPEG fallback when HEIF is unavailable, at a standard processed dimension near 12 MP supported by the active camera.
Can I compare the original and corrected image?+
Yes. The Library provides original and corrected views, alongside Grid and Masonry layouts, selection, export, delete, and location-name presentation.
Does Plumb record location?+
Only when Record Location is enabled and you grant location permission. Location can be retained with the photo and shown as useful context in the Library.
What happens if correction is unsupported?+
Plumb fails closed: it does not modify the original capture. The source image remains available.
Is Plumb available now?+

What does Free include?+
Free access includes 10 successful saves of distinct corrected photos per device, per UTC calendar month. Failed saves and repeat saves of an already-counted photo do not use another allowance. At the limit, automatic correction turns off; original capture and existing local photos remain available.
What does Pro include?+
Pro removes the corrected-photo save allowance and includes optional iCloud library sync. Choose monthly, annual or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Local price, currency and billing period are shown by Apple at purchase.
Can I buy Pro once?+
Yes. Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable Pro purchase with no recurring subscription charge. It does not include extra iCloud storage.
How do I restore or manage purchases?+
Use Restore in the Pro page with the Apple Account that purchased Pro. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in Apple Account subscription settings before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refunds.
What happens if I turn off sync or lose Pro?+
Paid functionality pauses when Pro expires. Local photos remain available, and previously synchronized iCloud records are not deleted. Manage those records through iCloud storage settings.
