Overview
Plumb is designed as a local-first architectural camera. Photo capture and perspective correction occur on your iPhone. Plumb does not upload your captures to a remote service for correction.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used to take photographs. Photo Library access is used only when you ask Plumb to save, export, organize, or manage copies and albums. The original capture and corrected derivative are stored locally in Plumb's working Library. This working Library is excluded from device backup; save important captures to Photos.
Motion data
Plumb uses device motion data at capture time to improve architectural perspective correction. This data supports on-device processing and is associated with the local capture record.
Location
If you turn on Record Location and grant permission, Plumb can add location information to photos and present a location name in the Library. You can deny or revoke permission in iOS Settings.
Sharing and retention
Plumb shares a photo only when you initiate an export or save action. You control deletion from the Plumb Library and from Photos. Deleting from one library may not delete a separately saved copy from the other.
Security and future changes
Current integrity checks use SHA-256. If future versions add accounts, cloud storage, analytics, or network processing, this policy will be updated before those features are introduced.
