The principle

Architecture is drawn with intention. Photograph it the same way.

A small tilt of an iPhone can make parallel lines converge. Plumb records camera geometry at capture and uses that evidence to form an upright image without hiding the original.

The familiar frustration

The familiar frustration

Less time adjusting perspective. More time observing architecture.

Point the camera upward and verticals converge. Façades lean and compositions lose their balance. Correcting later can crop away part of the frame you wanted.

Correction becomes a choreGuides, corner handles, rotation, crop—then another pass.

01

Capture

Use shutter-time camera and motion evidence to create a natural, upright architectural photograph.

Live correction preview
See the corrected composition while framing, before you press the shutter.

Up to 48MP capture
Choose high-resolution capture on supported devices and lenses. Actual output varies with capture conditions and crop.

02

Refine

Fine-tune crop, rotation, mirror and horizontal perspective with the non-destructive editor. Keep the original intact.

Choose a filter preset in the photo editor and adjust its intensity. Refine colour and mood without replacing the original; save the edit before exporting or sharing.

03

Organize

Keep projects together with Current Shoot and albums. Browse your Library in Grid or Masonry.

FAQ

What does Plumb correct?+

Plumb corrects converging verticals and perspective caused by tilting the phone, while preserving a natural composition.

Does correction replace the original?+

No. Plumb keeps the original camera resource and writes the corrected image as a separate version.

Are my photos uploaded?+

Perspective correction happens on your iPhone. Pro offers optional iCloud Sync, off by default, using your private CloudKit database managed by Apple. Photos are not uploaded to a developer-operated server for correction.

Which iPhones are supported?+

iOS 18 or later is required. iPhone 13 or newer is recommended. Available camera features vary by device.

What happens if correction is unsupported?+

The original is left untouched and remains available. An unsafe or failed correction does not replace it.

How do I restore or manage purchases?+

Use Restore on the Pro page with the Apple Account that purchased Pro. Manage subscriptions in Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refunds.

What happens when Pro expires?+

Paid functionality pauses, but local photos remain. Turning off sync or losing Pro does not delete previously synchronized iCloud records.

Does Plumb record location?+

Only when Record Location is enabled and permission is granted. Place lookup may send coordinates and a nearby search area to Apple through Core Location and MapKit.

Can I preview perspective correction before taking a photo?+

Yes. With CORRECT ON, enable Live Correction Preview under Settings → Framing. The composition updates as you move the phone. Check the final photograph after capture; preview framing and the saved result can differ.

Free

Free access includes 10 successful saves of distinct corrected photos per device per UTC calendar month. Failed saves and repeat saves of an already-counted photo do not use another allowance. At the limit, automatic correction turns off; original capture and existing local photos remain available.

Plumb Pro

Pro removes the corrected-photo save allowance and includes optional iCloud Sync, off by default. Monthly, annual and one-time Lifetime purchases are available. Apple shows the local price, currency and billing period before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled before renewal. Sync uses your iCloud storage and depends on Apple service availability; Lifetime does not include extra storage.
